Our cockatiel actually steps right in and starts flapping the moment I clip this to the cage bars—the design makes it easy for him to reach without me having to hold it steady. The shallow basin holds just enough water for a proper splash without soaking the whole room, which is a huge win for us.
My conure used to splash water everywhere during bath time, but this little basin clips right onto the cage door and holds just enough water for a proper dunk without the mess. It's shallow enough that even my timid budgie wades in without hesitation.
My parakeet took to it immediately—the shallow basin is just right for her, and I love that it clips right onto the cage door so cleanup is a breeze. She splashes around for a solid five minutes every morning now, and the whole setup feels sturdy enough to last.
