She spent a solid twenty minutes batting that chicken around before finally digging the inner toy out from the burrow—the hunt-and-seek nesting really works. Even my older, lazy cat got curious when she heard the crinkle, so it’s definitely earned a permanent spot in the rotation.
She found one treat in the bottom layer within seconds, but the real fun was watching her dig through the fleece folds to unearth the second toy. It’s held up through a week of daily pouncing sessions and still looks as good as new.
My cat’s not usually a digger, but she’ll spend a solid ten minutes pawing at the outer layer to get to the hidden inner toy. The burrow design definitely keeps her busy, though I wish the outer fabric were a bit sturdier since she’s already frayed a corner.
