Kept this folded flat in my glovebox for months and it barely takes up any space until you pop it open for water at a rest stop. The silicone wipes clean in seconds, which matters when you're dealing with a slobbery dog on a road trip.
Tossed this in my hiking pack and barely noticed the weight since it folds down flat. The silicone held up fine with water and kibble, and it popped back into shape in seconds.
Kept this in the glovebox for months and it flattens down to basically nothing, so it never gets in the way. Filled it up at a rest stop and it held its shape fine while my dog drank.
