Took this to the park expecting a normal fetch session and ended up playing tug for twenty minutes straight — the grip handle makes it so much easier to swing and pull without my hand slipping. The rope has held up fine after several throws on pavement too.
My dog is obsessed with the braided rope part — she carries it around like a prize even when we're not playing. The polypropylene holds up fine after a few weeks of tug sessions in the yard, no fraying yet.
The braided rope has held up through weeks of tug-of-war with my lab, and the grip makes it easy to really wing it across the yard. My dog actually brings it back instead of losing interest halfway.
