My cat actually walks into this kennel on her own now, which never happened with our old hard-sided carrier. The round den shape gives her somewhere to curl up, and I like that the plastic cleans out easily after a vet trip.
Wasn't sure my skittish cat would take to it, but she curled right up in that round shape like it was her own little den. The plastic feels sturdy and the latch snaps shut firmly without rattling. Honestly the calmest vet trip we've had.
The round shape really does seem to calm my cat down—she curls up in it like it's her own little den instead of crying the whole ride. My only gripe is the door latch takes a bit of fiddling to line up, but once it clicks it feels secure.
