My dog goes absolutely nuts chasing this thing across the field, and the thumb release makes it easy to fire off one throw after another. Took it to the lake last weekend and it floats, so no more wading out to rescue soggy toys.
The slingshot launch is what sold me — I can flick it way across the yard without winding up like a pitcher. My terrier sprints the whole 100 feet every time and still brings it back for more.
Threw this in the lake expecting it to sink, but it floats and my lab just kept paddling after it. The slingshot launch is genuinely fun, though you need a decent thumb to get the full distance.
