The flexible flap keeps the rain out without blocking airflow, and my dog actually uses the house now instead of sleeping on the porch. The fit is snug on the doorway, so no drafts sneak in overnight.
Snapped right onto my dog's house in a couple minutes, and the flap actually keeps the rain out instead of letting it pool inside. The warmth stays in noticeably better on cold nights, so my old guy isn't shivering by morning anymore.
The plastic is sturdier than I expected and it actually snaps onto the frame securely. Rain no longer blows into the opening, and my old dog stays noticeably drier and warmer inside now.
