The blade cut through my lab's thick nails in one clean snip, no cracking or splitting at all. I've had clippers that crush the nail, but this one glides right through.

The rubber handle really does make a difference on a wiggly dog — my grip stayed steady through the whole trim. The blade cut clean without any jagged edges, though it's a bit stiff to squeeze at first until you get used to it.

I clipped all four of my dog's nails in under five minutes, and the blade cut clean without that crunching sound cheaper clippers make. Only gripe is the handle is a bit bulky for my smaller hands, but the sharp edge is worth it.
