The fit is exact on my 50lb Vittles Vault, no wobble or air gaps when I snap it down. The latch clicks in firm and the seal feels tight enough that I don't worry about critters getting into the food.

I wasn't sure if a replacement lid would line up perfectly with my existing vault, but the seal is airtight and it locks in exactly like the original. Took about two seconds to swap out.

My old lid had cracked at the hinge, and this replacement snapped right onto the 50lb vault with zero wobble, fitting the plain-sided model perfectly. The seal feels just as tight as the original, so I’m not worried about pests getting in.
