The thick walls on this crock are no joke—my dog has knocked it off the porch twice and it hasn't chipped yet. I also like that it's got recycled content and the Microban treatment, since his old plastic bowl started getting gross around the rim.

Picked this up for my messy eater and the heavier crock barely budges now, even when he paws at it. The Microban treatment is a nice bonus since it sits out all day.

Wasn't expecting the thick walls to make such a difference, but this bowl doesn't slide across the floor when my dog gets excited at dinner. The Microban treatment is a nice bonus too, since it stays fresher between washes.
