My cat ignored every toy I bought her until this one — she's been batting the balls around the track for twenty minutes straight. The stacked layers mean she can chase them from the top or the bottom, so it actually holds her attention.
The three stacked tracks keep my cat busy way longer than the single-layer toy she got bored of. She figured out how to send the balls spinning on the top tier and now parks herself next to it every morning.
The three stacked layers keep my two cats busy batting the balls around for a good ten minutes before they lose interest. Only complaint is it slides a bit on the hardwood, so I stuck a mat under it.
