I switched from pig ears because those gave my dog the runs, and these water buffalo ears have been a much better fit on his stomach. It's honestly impressive they pack 28% more protein than pig ears without any greasy residue on the rug. He settles down with one for a solid hour.
I checked the protein content before buying and these ears really do pack more than rawhide, which sold me. My older lab finishes one in about a week of evenings, and it keeps him busy without any greasy residue on the rug.
My dog is a picky chewer but she went straight for this ear and stayed busy with it for a solid twenty minutes. I like that it's single source protein and way less fat than rawhide, so I don't feel guilty handing her one.
