The wide pan scoops a full pile in one go instead of me chasing bits around with a bag. Aluminum spade rinses clean with a quick hose spray and hasn't rusted after a few weeks in the yard.
I've got a bad back, and the 38" handle means I barely have to bend over to clean up after my two labs. The wide pan holds a whole morning's worth of mess in one scoop, and the molded grip stays comfortable even with gloves on.
The aluminum spade slides under the grass clippings without bending, and the pan holds everything without tipping. The molded grip is a nice touch too, no blisters after a full yard cleanup.
