That button that retracts the pins makes cleanup so much easier, I just click it and the fur drops right off. My dog actually sits still for brushing now since the pins don't scratch her skin.
The rounded head glides along my dog's back without scratching, and it pulls a shocking amount of loose fur out in one pass. The self-cleaning button pops the hair off in a neat clump, so my hands stay clean.
